And I have to wonder what's going on, when the much swishier video is on the blog run by happily married guys?

Sunburn Sunday!

My sister [who lives in Kansas] called me yesterday around 10 AM, saying she was in Houston and coming to Galveston with a friend. Somewhat annoying, but I've gotten used to it. We met on the beach, and went to a local hangout for lunch [Mosquito Cafe, if anyone cares, and yeah it is highly recommended].

It turned out it wasn't quite as random as it sounded, she has several standby passes she got from a friend, that she's trying to use before the school year starts.

Her friend is almost stereotypically "progressive," now he's into the local food meme. I was good, bit my tongue, and didn't get into any arguments. So, I'm glad I got to see her, annoyed she didn't give me advance warning.
