A handy word, coined for a somewhat bizarre answer to a question.
Basically, there was no Death before the Fall -> well, what did sharks eat?
Easy, sharks ate squid, which God didn't consider to be alive because they didn't have hemoglobin.
Read the comments on the first link, in which a bunch of biologists point out interesting tidbits. For example, an organism that has hemoglobin in a larval stage, but not the adult stage.
