Yeah, I'm still alive. I guess.
I've been hanging out with some friends of a friend, who happen to be a gay couple. They fairly randomly came to Galveston for a vacation.
Some firsts for me, like singing karaoke in a gay bar. And now I've got to figure out what to wear to a dance bar.
Is it just me, or is it a heck of a lot easier to be straight?

It got easier with marriage, but that's mainly because I don't have to worry about it all anymore... And now that my wife dresses me, I'm doing better in the fashion department too! :-)
Posted by: Brad Warbiany at August 5, 2005 11:22 PMHeh. I eventually went with Queer Eye's Carson's advice, and went for a more "upscale" [I guess] look. Waaaay overdressed. Every other guy in the bar was either wearing jeans or shorts, I was in slacks and a nice shirt. The guys I was meeting: one wearing tank top and shorts, the other going for the western look with jeans, shirt, cowboy hat and boots.
Oh well. Had fun.
